Studying in Germany without IELTS or TOEFL
Is it’s possible to urge an admit to a German University in a Masters course without ever writing IELTS or TOEFL or any quiet English language proficiency exam. Before writing this article, I actually wrote to the German Embassy that if it is possible to get a visa if you don’t have IELTS or TOEFL. Like okay, you can get an admit from the university and study in Germany but what do you have to try to for the visa because it doesn’t make sense if you get admission to a university but at the time of visa processing you have to give IELTS or TOEFL than the whole situation just wouldn’t make any kind of sense.
So let me guide you step by step on how you’ll apply to a German university without any kind of IELTS or TOEFL for the English-speaking Master’s program. I am not talking about German-speaking Masters Program anyways; you don’t need any kind of English proficiency tests like IELTS or TOEFL there. You need Tostada but again for the English-speaking Master’s program just with a Medium of Instruction certificate, you can actually study in Germany. Like, you never have to spend the money for IELTS or TOEFL.
The first thing that you simply are getting to do into first finds out the universities which let you apply with just a Language of Instruction certificate or the medium of instruction. For that again, it’s an extended search but it is worth it. Maybe you don’t want to apply to more universities; maybe you only want to use two 2 or 3 universities. You have good grades, you have good work experience and then you just need that medium of instruction certificate and you don’t have to waste your money on IELTS or TOEFL. Go to the admission requirements and there it’s written that ‘Language of Instruction in your Undergraduate was English’ or you are a Pakistani or Indian and you don’t need to apply for any quiet IELTS or TOEFL anyways. Some of the universities which allow you to do that are.
So for these universities, you don’t need to apply for any kind of IELTS or TOEFL. You can just go to the admission requirements: Be sure because it will be really stupid if you just don’t look at the university and you already get happy that okay, I don’t need to give any kind of IELTS or TOEFL. Second, get a confirmation letter from your German university. Now, okay you’ve got applied to the German universities for your Masters’s program with your Medium Of Instruction Certificate, afterward, you need to get a letter from the university that this student not required IELT S or TOEFL because his undergraduate study was in English. This is the document that you simply need otherwise you can let them formulate it in another way. You can just allow them to write that okay, the students whose undergraduate was in English, we don’t require them to take any kind of IELTS or TOEFL.
Both things work just to see if the university is being specific about the part that okay the ‘Language of Instruction was in English, that’s why we don’t need any kind of IELTS or TOEFL’. So with the Medium of Instruction Certificate and therefore the certificate or the letter that you simply get from the University which says that okay, we do not need him to use for any kind of IELTS or TOEFL, you go to the Embassy and you apply for the visas. Now also make sure already that the consulates where you are going to apply to accept this thing because most of them do. You just send a themed email or make a phone call to confirm if they will accept these kinds of cases. Also take the printout of that E-mail (from the consulate) with you, just in case. I mean, I don’t think they will make a lot of problems because you already have the Admit and you’ve got the letter from the German University, but still just in case. I mean, these are again, tons of things that you have to do, but check out the brilliant side, like you don’t have to write IELTS or TOEFL and you can still study in Germany in some universities.
For most of the universities, I would say, maybe around 80% of the universities, you need to write IELTS or TOEFL but still for that 20% of universities, if you have a really good profile and you really don’t want to apply to a lot of universities, then it imperfectly fine for you. So, anyway guys, this was a short article about how you can study in Germany without IELTS or TOEFL.
Also, share this article with your friends because I know most of them don’t know about this issue in such detail because it’s just a bit too much effort once you write to the consulates and ask them if it is really possible and stuff we could gather so much information in such short time.
